		             LGNPC Ald'ruhn Supplement version 1.31

			 		   Walkthrough

     ****************************************************************************************

This walkthrough covers only the new quests offered through the LGNPC Ald'ruhn
Supplement and not any quests offered in the original LGNPC Ald'ruhn installment. In
time as the latter's content is slowly replaced by the former this walkthrough will be
expanded to include new quests as well as earlier quests incorporated from the original
     installment.

Spoilers abound. Proceed at your own risk. For most quests the first paragraph describes
how the quest is initiated and a very broad overview of the quest. Hints follow in the
second paragraph when they are wanted.

Quests: (in alphabetical order by quest name)

     ****************************************************************************************

     The Alchemist's Apprentice
     --------------------------

This quest is offered by Tauryon (located in Ald'ruhn plaza) if the player gives him
some food or gold. The backstory of the quest unfolds through the topic 'all my own
doing', but the quest is advanced through the topic 'rejoin the Mages Guild'.

If the player advices Tauryon to speak with Edwinna Elbert the quest will close quietly
and happily in a few days. Should the player speak with Edwinna Elbert on behalf of
Tauryon the quest will close nearly as fast, but thereafter Tauryon will offer the
player a service for his/her kindness. There are numerous delays in the quest
representing when Tauryon is speaking with Edwinna Elbert for running errands that he
will not appear in Ald'ruhn. Much of the action is triggered by cell changes so come
and go and wait at least a day.

     The Care Package
     ----------------

This quest is not available until after the player has completed the official quest
     'House Hlaalu: The Twin Lamps'.

This quest is offered by Fathusa Girethi (located in the Ald Skar Inn). Speak with her
on the topic 'Twin Lamps' to introduce the quest. The quest is advanced through the
     topic 'two escaped slaves'.

Boderi Farano (the publican in the Ald Skar Inn) will have all the goods the player
requires. Mind Fathusa Girethi's directions to Randas Ancestral Tomb - the player has
only two days to complete the quest successfully.

     The Eye of Marusa
     -----------------

Available only to members of the Thieves Guild

This quest is offered by Tongue-Toad (in The Rat In The Pot) only after the player has
a sneak and security skill of at least 40, and not of great rank in the Thieves Guild.
The quest is introduced through a greeting with Tongue-Toad (assuming the player is not
already performing a quest for Aengoth the Jeweler) and is advanced through the topic
     'Eye of Marusa'.

Activating the wall panel in the bedroom of Ramoran Private Quarters will reveal the
wall safe. The player would do well to honor his/her agreement with Tongue-Toad. Save
your game before deciding to cross him.

     Field of Dreams
     ---------------

This quest is offered by Merthierry Laelippe (located in the Ald Skar Inn). Speak with
Merthierry Laelippe on the topic 'background' to learn the topic 'forced to leave' that
provides the backstory for the quest. The quest is advanced through the topic
     'opportunities for farmers'.

Every settlement will have something to offer on the topic, but only Gnisis and Vos will
present eligible opportunities. After making his choice, Merthierry Laelippe will be
moved to his new home. If the player visits him in either Gnisis or Vos it may yield
     small dividends.

     Fish out of Water
     -----------------

This quest is offered by Thengil (located in the Council Club). Speak with him on the
topic 'someone in particular' or 'specific place' to introduce the quest. The quest is
advanced through the topic 'leave this place'.

If player declines to help Thengil the quest can be later accepted so long as the
player does not leave the Council Club. Once the player steps outside Thengil will
take matters into his own hands.

     Forging the Nightmares
     ----------------------

This quest has been changed since LGNPC Aldruhn version 1.20

This quest is offered by Percius Mercius (located in the Guild of Fighters). It does
not require guild membership to perform. Speak with Percius Mercius on the topic
'little secret'. Both Ergnir and Tralan will discuss the 'Battle of Broken Eyes'
that is related to the quest, but their dialogue does not trigger the quest.

A high disposition is required to get Percius Mercius (and for that matter Ergnir
and Tralan as well) to fully reveal his 'little secret'. This introduces the topic
'Battle of Broken Eyes' that gives the backstory for the quest, and also the topic
'nearby ashmire' that tells the player about the ring.
To locate Percius Mercius' ring, leave Ald'ruhn through the west gate and take the
road toward Fort Buckmoth. Enter the first small box canyon on the right (south). The
ring is located up against the base of ash grass growing in the bubbling ashmire pit.
     It is difficult to see.
Return to the Fighters Guild and if Percius Mercius is greeted while the ring is in
the player's possession, hereafter the quest will advance through the topic 'darker
     magics'.
Speaking with Llether Vari reveal the need to collect the other rings. Learn their
locations by speaking with Ergnir and Tralan (both in the Guild of Fighters) on the
topic 'little secret' - a high disposition is required.
Deliver the three rings to Sirollus Saccus (the smith at Hawkmoth Legion Garrison in
Ebonheart). If Sirollus Saccus has been killed, the quest closes anticlimactically.
Return to Llether Vari with the forged ring and the soul of a Dagoth. Any named Dagoth
will do. If the player has not already trapped a Dagoth soul, they can be be found in
Sixth House bases all around Vvardenfell. Besides the Red Mountain citadels there are:
Assemanu, Falasmaryon, Hassour, Ilunibi, Kogoruhn, Mamaea, Subdun and Yakin to name a
     few popular locations.

     Sisters
     -------

This quest is not available after Aryni Orethi is moved to Bal Isra (Indarys Manor) as
part of the official Redoran stronghold quest.

This quest is offered by Aryni Orethi (located in Ald'ruhn plaza). Speak with Aryni
Orethi on the topic 'background' to introduce the quest. Thereafter the quest will be
advanced through the topic 'Inta' if the player's disposition is high enough.

Speak with Navam Veran (the caravaner in Ald'ruhn) to get the quest moving (requires
     high disposition).
People in most settlements in the West Gash will have something to say on the topic, but
the player will pick up Inta Orethi's trail in Balmora. Speak with Selvil Sareloth (the
     caravaner in Balmora).
The trail will lead the player to Molag Mar, where Inta Orethi can eventually be found
in St. Veloth's Hostel a few days after the player's arrival - be patient, see the
     sights.
Speak with Inta Orethi and then return to Ald'ruhn to close the quest with Aryni Orethi.
Subsequent visits to Molag Mar will chronicle Inta Orethi's progress through the
Pilgrimages of the Seven Graces (advanced through the topic 'my pilgrimage').
She will not advance far until the player assists her by providing a silver longsword as
an offering at one of the shrines.
Each pilgrimage takes a few to several days to complete during which Inta Orethi will
not appear in St. Velothi's Hostel. When she returns she may be in a different part of
     the Hostel.
Should the player choose to escort Inta Orethi to Ghostgate, a journey through Ald'ruhn
     will yield a small treat.
Eventually Inta Orethi will be reassigned to the Maar Gan shrine.
