	1. DESCRIPTION

     **********************************************************************

     Less Generic NPC mods provide unique dialogue filtered for individual 
     NPCs that replaces the generic responses usually encountered and 
     create individual personalities and backstories.

     LGNPC Khuul adds new dialogue and develops the personality of every
     NPC in Khuul. Their characters are further developed as the player
     investigates two new quests.

	2. INSTALLATION

     **********************************************************************

     This archive consists of a plug-in module (.esp), a readme and 
     walkthrough file (.txt).

     Unzip the archive into your Morrowind\Data Files directory, or manually
     copy LGNPC_Khuul.esp into your Morrowind\Data Files folder.
     If asks to overwrite, choose [Yes].

	3. USING THE PLUG-IN

     **********************************************************************

     From the Morrowind Launcher, open Data Files and check the box next 
     to LGNPC_Khuul.esp

     This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

     It can be used with a new game or an existing saved game.

     Users of LGNPC Khuul since version 2.01:
       Your existing saves will not require cleaning. Simply uncheck your 
       current version in your data files and check version 2.30. Ignore 
       the warning, they will disappear after your next save.

     Users of versions of LGNPC Khuul version 2.01 or earlier:
       Local references have been re-numbered to reduce the likelihood of 
       local reference conflicts with other mods. You are advised to 
       'clean' your existing saved game using a utility such as Wrye Mash.

     Significant changes have been made in version 2.00 relating to the 
     quests. If you are running an version of LGNPC Khuul earlier than 
     version 2.00, you will need to clean your existing saved game using 
     a utility such as Wrye Mash.

     Do not use with an earlier version of LGNPC Khuul. This plugin is a 
     replacement, not a patch.

     It is recommended that you make a backup of your current game before
     using this plug-in. It may spare you much grief should you encounter
     problems or conflicts that result in your un-installing the mod.

	4. FEATURES

     **********************************************************************

     LGNPC Khuul creates unique dialogue for 14 existing NPCs. There are 
     540 new dialogue entries covering 40 new and existing topics.

     We offer 2 new quests available to any player regardless of faction
     affiliation.

     LGNPC NoLore ready - some NPCs filtered for use with LGNPC NoLore to 
     generate indifferent replies on topics they shouldn't speak.

     Children of Morrowind ready - Adds dialogue for parents of children 
     introduced by Children of Morrowind.

     Some highlights include:

     - Khuul was a quiet fishing village that just got a little more lively.
     - Investigate rumors about a black market operating in Khuul - what
       you do with that information is up to you.
     - Solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of one of Khuul's 
       own.
     - Nearly everyone in the town will have something to contribute to the 
       unfolding of these quests.

     Refer to LGNPC_Khuul_Walkthrough.txt for assistance with any of the 
     quests introduced by this mod.

     Version 2.30

     - Fixed bug in Shotherra's travel script that caused her progress to 
       stall if the player fell too far behind.
     - Fixed many dialogue errors and inconsistancies.

     Version 2.20 and 2.21

     - Complete re-editing of dialogue for spelling and grammatical errors.
     - Quest/dialog bug dialogue

     Version 2.10

     - Restored Morrowind-only dependency by removing references to the 
       Tribunal function SetJournalIndex.

     Version 2.01

     - Fixed small dialogue inconsistency.
     - Established a permanent date-stamp for future updates and for
       establishing proper load order for LGNPC mods.
     - Re-numbered local reference index to reduce the likelihood of
       local reference conflicts with other mods.

     Version 2.00

     - Re-structured dialogue to decrease likelihood of conflicts with 
       other mods, and prepare it for merging with other LGNPC mods.
     - cleaned NPCs of noLore script to decrease likelihood of conflicts 
       with other mods. Most generic topics NPCs would speak now have 
       unique dialogue; five NPCs are filtered for use with LGNPC noLore 
       to generate indifferent replies on topics they shouldn't speak.
     - Expanded backstory for several NPCs and tailored dialogue to be 
       consistent with their character.
     - Added quest to discover the truth about Aldi's missing husband, 
       and expanded on the quest relating to smuggling and a black market.
     - Added dialogue for parents of children introduced by Children of 
       Morrowind.

     Version 1.16

     - Fix a few typos.

     Version 1.15

     - Miscellaneous grammar, consistency, and flow fixes.

     Version 1.10

     - All dialogue revised.

     Version 1.02

     - Cleaned.

     Version 1.01

     - Fixed a minor bug involving Miron's dialogue on the subject 'Khuul' 
       not yielding the appropriate follow-up topic.
     - Corrected a number of typos and grammar errors.

	6. COMPATIBILITY

     **********************************************************************

     This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

     Do not use merged dialogues.esp (from TESTool) with this plug-in (or 
     any other LGNPC installment)!

     LGNPC Khuul has been cleaned with tes3cmd, date-stamped and local 
     reference indexes re-numbered with Wrye Mash. If you open this mod 
     in the game editor, use Wyre Mash to preserve the date stamp and 
     local object reference index:

          Date stamp: 6/20/2008/11:00:00 PM
          Starting local reference index: 50759

     Changing these values could result in conflicts with other mods.

     CONFLICTS:
 
     - "Vampire Embrace" by Cortex shares a dialogue filter with many 
       LGNPC mods that could result in unexpected problems in both mods.
