	1. DESCRIPTION

     **********************************************************************

Less Generic NPC mods provide unique dialogue filtered for individual
NPCs that replaces the generic responses usually encountered and
     create individual personalities and backstories.

LGNPC Secret Masters adds new dialogue and develops the personality
of every master trainer NPC and fifteen other related NPCs. These
characters are further developed as the player investigates nearly
     thirty new quests.

	2. INSTALLATION

     **********************************************************************

This archive consists of two plug-in modules (.esp), a readme and
walkthrough file (.txt), and new icons, meshes and textures.

Unzip the archive into your Morrowind\Data Files directory. The archive
is bundled so the new graphic elements are placed in the appropriate
folders. If a problem is encountered, manually copy the files according
     to the following directory tree:

Data Files (.esp and .txt placed here)
Icons (.tga placed here and in following folder)
               WARRobe
Meshes (.nif placed in following folder)
               WARPSj
          Textures (.tga placed here)

If asks to overwrite, choose [Yes].

	3. USING THE PLUG-IN

     **********************************************************************

From the Morrowind Launcher, open Data Files and check the box next to
     LGNPC_SecretMasters.esp

For users of Morrowind Comes Alive version 5/5.1, running the patch
LGNPC_SecretMasters_MCA5.esp will fix a hostile spawn point that
conflicts with the location of one of the master trainers.

This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

Using LGNPC_SecretMasters_MCA5 requires Morrowind Comes Alive release
5/5.1. It might work with later releases.

It can be used with a new game or an existing saved game.

Users of previous versions of LGNPC Secret Masters:
Substantive changes have been made and your existing saved games
will not run unless they are first 'cleaned' using a utility such
       as Wrye Mash.

Do not use with an earlier version of LGNPC Secret Masters. This
plugin is a replacement not a patch.

It is recommended that you make a backup of your current game before
using this plug-in. It may spare you much grief should you encounter
problems or conflicts that result in your un-installing the mod.

Consult the file "Spoilers.doc" for hints to the new quests, a list
of 'easter eggs' and Oblivion tie-ins, and a list of all twenty-eight
     master trainers.

	4. FEATURES

     **********************************************************************

LGNPC Secret Masters creates unique dialogue for 43 existing NPCs.

     - Help establish a new Ashlander tribe, or have it crushed.

knew Sotha Sil back when he wore short pants.

	6. COMPATIBILITY

     **********************************************************************

This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

Do not use merged dialogues.esp (from TESTool) with this plug-in (or
     any other LGNPC installment)!

LGNPC Secret Masters has been cleaned with tes3cmd, date-stamped and
local reference indexes re-numbered with Wrye Mash. If you open this
mod in the game editor, use Wyre Mash to preserve the date stamp and
     local object reference index:

          Date stamp: 6/27/2008/11:00:00 PM
          Starting local reference index: 45759

Changing these values could result in conflicts with other mods.

     CONFLICTS:

     - "Vampire Embrace" by Cortex shares a dialogue filter with many
LGNPC mods that could result in unexpected problems in both mods.

     - Possible conflict with Other mods that add the medium Armor master
trainer. Compatibility may be restored if LGNPC Secret Masters
loads after them. A script disables all but one of her.

     - To manage conflicts that could arrise with other mods that alter
the cell 'Eretammus-Sennammu Egg Mine', a duplicate of the cell has
been created: 'Eretammus Sennammu Egg Mine'. A new door overlays the
original door to provide access. Should it be necessary to enter the
original cell, the new door can be disabled through the console.
       The door ID is:

         jo_door_cavern_es (located in Azura's Coast (13,-11))

Open the console by pressing the tithe '~' key, click on the door
       and type:

         Disable

The original door will now be revealed providing access to the
       original cell.

	7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

     **********************************************************************

The concept, most of the dialogue and quests were written by Ostar.

4LOM wrote the master trainers (MTs) of Mercantile, Acrobatics,
Security, and Armorer, the Tel Fyr Warden, and reworked the Light
Armor MT. EarthWyrm wrote the Athletics MT. Kieve wrote one the Sneak
MTs. The Conjuration MT is mostly from LGNPC Ald'ruhn, the Light
Armor MT is originally from LGNPC Maar Gan, and the other Sneak MT
is mostly from LGNPC Gnaar Mok.

Cyrano helped with scripting, dialogue and testing, and made other
     contributions.

The new robe (Robe of the Psijic Order) has robe meshes by Nioliv
     and textures by Westly.

The new book "Orc Creation Story" is by Albides.

The new book "Fief's Guide to Saltrice" was written by Fief and
     modded by Xeth-Ban.

The new book "A Slave's Life" was originally released in Brother
     Juniper's Twin Lamps mod.

Thanks to the Morrowind modding community for advice and shared
wisdom, and Bethesda Softworks for providing the game editor that
     makes this plug-in possible.
