	1. DESCRIPTION

     **********************************************************************

Less Generic NPC mods provide unique dialogue filtered for individual
NPCs that replaces the generic responses usually encountered and
     create individual personalities and backstories.

LGNPC Pelagiad adds new dialogue and develops the personality of every
NPC in Pelagiad. These characters are further developed as the player
investigates around a dozen new quests.

	2. INSTALLATION

     **********************************************************************

This archive consists of a plug-in module (.esp), and a readme file
     (.txt).

Unzip the archive into your Morrowind\Data Files directory, or manually
copy LGNPC_Pelagiad.esp into your Morrowind\Data Files folder.
If asks to overwrite, choose [Yes].

     **********************************************************************

	3. USING THE PLUG-IN

     **********************************************************************

From the Morrowind Launcher, open Data Files and check the box next to
     LGNPC_Pelagiad.esp

This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

It can be used with a new game or an existing saved game.

Users of LGNPC Pelagiad earlier than version 1.20:
Local references have been re-numbered to reduce the likelihood of
local reference conflicts with other mods. You are advised to
'clean' your existing saved game using a utility such as Wrye Mash.

Do not use with an earlier version of LGNPC Pelagiad. This plugin is
     a replacement, not a patch.

It is recommended that you make a backup of your current game before
using this plug-in. It may spare you much grief should you encounter
problems or conflicts that result in your un-installing the mod.

	4. FEATURES

     **********************************************************************

LGNPC Pelagiad creates unique dialog for 21 existing NPCs. This is a
more playful treatment compared to other LGNPC installments. There
are 1350 new dialogue entries covering 170 new and existing topics.

We offer 12 new quests available to any player regardless of faction
     affiliation.

     Some highlights include:

     - Become gainfully employed as an assistant to one of the local
       merchants with many new 'responsibilities'.
     - A grand investigation quest will send you combing the entire
island of Vvardenfell looking for clues to the truth.
     - Our NPCs fall in love, become jealous, sad, or angry, and even
       scheme against each other.
     - Thieves abound in Pelagiad and there is a job or two to be had
       by the like-minded player.

	6. COMPATIBILITY

     **********************************************************************

This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

Do not use merged dialogues.esp (from TESTool) with this plug-in (or
     any other LGNPC installment)!

LGNPC Pelagiad has been cleaned with tes3cmd, date-stamped and local
reference indexes re-numbered with Wrye Mash. If you open this mod in
the game editor, use Wyre Mash to preserve the date stamp and local
     object reference index:

          Date stamp: 6/9/2008/11:00:00 PM
          Starting local reference index: 49759

Changing these values could alter load order and generate errors when
     loading saved games.

     CONFLICTS:

     - Several NPCs have new scripts attached that could result in
conflicts with other mods altering official NPCs. Merging objects
could resolve such conflicts if they exist.

     - "Vampire Embrace" by Cortex shares a dialog filter with many LGNPC
mods that could result in unexpected problems in both mods.
