	1. DESCRIPTION

     **********************************************************************

Less Generic NPC mods provide unique dialogue filtered for individual
NPCs that replaces the generic responses usually encountered and
     create individual personalities and backstories.

LGNPC NoLore is a differnt kind of LGNPC mod. It was designed to
decreased the dependence on the noLore script to prevent NPCs from
using generic dialogue that might not be in character with their
personality. Adding the noLore script can break official quests and
create conflicts with other mods making it something to be avoided.

What NoLore does is create vague or dismissive replies to those generic
topics filtered in a way that does not involve editing the NPC in game
editor. As a result, not all NPCs will speak authoratatively on all
topics. A LGNPC town mod adds the filtering to the NPC, and if LGNPC
NoLore is plugged in, those NPCs will utilize the new responses.

LGNPC NoLore is also LGNPC Khajiit. The process of creating the this
mod revealed that few generic responses exist that are appropriate for
Khajiit NPC. Now there are both detailed and 'no lore' replies filtered
for Khajiit on most topics. Four topics have not been attempted yet
('latest rumors', 'little advice', 'little secret', and 'Morrowind
lore') owing to the scope of these topics. Greetings have not been
addressed either (although persuasion has). Great care need be taken to
prevent breaking official quests. This may be completed in the future.
Note that LGNPC Khajiit will work in non-LGNPC towns.

To be fully effective, LGNPC NoLore required the filtering fixes in
the Unofficial Morrowind Patch, and Less Lore. With permission from
the authors of those mods, LGNPC NoLore includes those fixes so it
could be written to take advantage of those fixes.

	2. INSTALLATION

     **********************************************************************

This archive consists of a plug-in module (.esp), and a readme file
     (.txt).

Unzip the archive into your Morrowind\Data Files directory, or manually
copy LGNPC_NoLore.esp into your Morrowind\Data Files folder.

     **********************************************************************

	3. USING THE PLUG-IN

     **********************************************************************

From the Morrowind Launcher, open Data Files and check the box next
     to LGNPC_NoLore.esp

This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

It can be used with a new game or an existing saved game.

Users of earlier versions of LGNPC No Lore:
The date stamp from earlier versions has been preserved. There is no
to 'clean' your existing saved game.

Do not use with an earlier version of LGNPC No Lore. This plugin is a
     replacement, not a patch.

It is recommended that you make a backup of your current game before
using this plug-in. It may spare you much grief should you encounter
problems or conflicts that result in your un-installing the mod.

	4. FEATURES

     **********************************************************************

LGNPC No Lore creates new generic dialogue responses for all NPCs and
others specifically written and filtered for Khajiit NPCs. There are
1050 new dialogue entries covering 220 existing topics.

     Some highlights include:

     - Added Bethesda's intended filters to the annoying Nerevarine
greeting. Now only NPCs of the pauper class will use that greeting.

	6. COMPATIBILITY

     **********************************************************************

This plug-in depends on Morrowind only.

Do not use merged dialogues.esp (from TESTool) with this plug-in (or
     any other LGNPC installment)!

LGNPC No Lore has been cleaned with tes3cmd and date-stamped with Wrye
Mash. If you open this mod in the game editor, use Wyre Mash to
     preserve the date stamp:

          Date stamp: 8/1/2002/11:00:00 PM

Changing this value could alter load order and generate errors when
     loading saved games.

Compatible with the Unofficial Morrowind Patch and Less Lore.

     CONFLICTS:

     - Theoretical conflict with other plugins that fix the Nerevarine
greeting. While the method may be different from other mods, the
result is pretty much the same. LGNPC's early date stamp will allow
the changes by other mods to prevail. This is less of an issue in
LGNPC towns were the new greetings are placed above the Nerevarine
       greetings.

     - Possible conflict with Djangos Dialogue on the topic 'background'.
